Sweet Nothing (work in progress)
As a 50 year old mother of two not so young children, I feel I have gained a new perspective on life, the project “Sweet Nothing” is my way to internalize this newly conquered notion.
When I am with my children I never wonder about the meaning of life, it just runs its course and I simply can’t stop watching. With them I have learnt that life has no secret, that life is no more than the sum of all the daily nuances … the day she had glassy eyes from high fever, his delicate limbs slowly turning into a gentle man, the plastic bag to treat the lice wrapping her head like a turban, him lost in another dimension while playing videogames, the dodgy suntan, the fallen towel… all seem imbued with beauty when your mind is silent.
