Las Embotelladoras (The Water Bottling Plants)

I was commissioned by the Guardian to do a photographic reportage on the  privatization of water in Spain (Catalunya and Andalucia), more specifically on the water bottling plant’s effect on the territory and its citizens. It was an intense week of interviews, we met a lot interesting and powerful, strong  people but we also listened to many painful stories. Once I got back home, I felt the need to process the experience and draw my very personal point of view on the water bottling plants.
